Eggless Chocolate cupcakes
Oh the never ending love for chocolate..!!!
Call these decadent, indulgent, sinful or pure bliss; these chocolate cupcakes are moist, fluffy and to die for. Make these for an occasion or just treat yourself with this delicious dessert.
Ingredients:
Maida / All purpose flour - 3/4 cup
Oil - 1/3 cup
chocolate chips - a handful
Milk - 1/2 cup
Vinegar - 1/2 tsp
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp
Cocoa Powder - 3 tbsp
Method :
- Sift Maida, baking soda and cocoa powder in a bowl and give it a mix.
- In another bowl take milk and add vinegar to it. let it rest for 2-3 mins
- Add oil and sugar to the milk and whisk it.
- Now add the maida mix and mix well.
- Add chocolate chips and mix.
- fill the moulds to 3/4 of the capacity and bake in a preheated oven for 18-20 mins @ 180 ℃
Notes :
*Use room temperature milk. not too cold nor hot
*Use castor sugar preferrably (Fine granules)
*You can use apple cider vinegar or plain vinegar
*Use choco chips of your choice (biter, semi sweet or sweet)
*Do not over whisk after adding dry ingredients. Just mix with a light hand. Its better to use spatula.

Add dry ingredients to wet mix |
Mix everything so that no lumps are left |
Add choco chips. I have used milk chocolate and dark chocolate. You can add as per your preference |
Use muffin tin |
Line it with paper cups |
Or you can use silicon moulds |
Fill batter till 3/4 of cup capacity |
Fill batter till 3/4 of cup capacity and bake at 180 degree celcius |
take out the cupcakes and let it cool. |
Eat as it is or frost it with butter cream. If you are planning to frost it, you need to wait for them to cool down completely or else the buttercream will melt. I couldn't wait so I tried one when it was still warm but not too hot. But I frosted the rest.
