Jaamun Popsicle | Java plum posicles | Ice pop
Ingredients: Jaamun - 250 gms Mint leaves - 15-20 Water - 3 cups Salt - 1/2 tsp Sugar - 5-6 tbsp Roasted cumin powder - 1 tsp Chat masala - 1 tsp Lemon juice - 2 -3 tsp Kala namak - 1/2 tsp Method: Boil water. Add salt sugar and jaamun to it and let it boil for 5-6 mins till jaamun becomes soft. Add mint leaves and boil for 5 more mins. Let it cool. Now sieve the mixture and mash the jaamun with your hand to get as much pulp out as possible. Discard the leaves, seeds and jaamun skin. Add remaining ingredients to the concoction. Mix well. Increase the sugar if required. Pour in moulds and freeze for 7-8 hours or overnight. Notes: The amount of sugar depends on your taste Sprinkle some chat masala after unmoulding while serving It gives a sweet and sour taste like kala khatta.
